If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel near Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, the Aerocity district is one of the best places to stay. During my recent trip to Delhi, I stayed at Andaz Delhi by Hyatt, a five-star hotel located just a few minutes from the airport.

The hotel offers spacious rooms, a swimming pool, gym, spa, and multiple dining options. Considering the price range of around 150 USD or less per night, it’s a solid option for travelers who want a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.

Andaz Delhi is located in Aerocity, a modern hotel district near Delhi Airport. The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from Indira Gandhi International Airport, making it ideal for late-night arrivals or early morning flights. Compared to other luxury hotels in Delhi, the price is relatively reasonable while still offering the reliability of the Hyatt brand.

Before entering the hotel building, guests go through a security check, which is common in many hotels in India. Bags are scanned at the entrance, though the process felt more routine than strict.

On the lobby floor, you’ll find Juniper Bar, a gin-focused cocktail bar. The bar serves a wide selection of cocktails made with more than 30 different types of gin, making it a popular spot in the evening for hotel guests.

Room Condition

When entering the room, the bathroom entrance is on the left while the wardrobe is on the right. Between the bathroom and bedroom area, there is a sliding door with a full-length mirror.

The door opens like a window, allowing you to see into the bathroom, but it doesn’t function as a walkway between the two spaces.

Room layouts can vary slightly. Some rooms come with one king-size bed, while others have two double beds. In addition, certain rooms include a bathtub, while others only have a shower.

The bathroom is quite spacious, similar to the bedroom area. There is plenty of counter space around the sink, which makes it convenient for organizing personal items. Towels and toilet paper are also generously provided. You’ll also find a scale, slippers, and storage cabinets under the sink. Inside the cabinets are amenities and a hair dryer.

In rooms with a shower booth, the toilet and shower area are separated across from the sink. The space is divided using large sliding doors, which helps make the layout more functional.

Rooms with a bathtub typically have two sinks, although the counter space around them is slightly smaller. The bathtub is positioned across from the sink area. Body lotion is also available on the bathroom sink.

Each room includes a large wooden table, which is useful for working or eating in the room. The refrigerator is built into the cabinet under the TV. However, the cooling function isn’t particularly strong, so drinks stay slightly cool rather than very cold.

Under the TV, there is an electric kettle, mugs, and tea bags. The mini fridge is on the left, while the cabinet on the right contains glasses and snacks.

The snacks in the room are complimentary, so you can enjoy them without additional charges. The canned drinks in the fridge are also provided as welcome drinks.

In addition to the kettle, the room also includes a coffee machine with capsules. Bottled water is provided in the room, and the packaging has recently been updated with sealed caps, which feels much safer to drink.

One detail I personally liked was the wooden flooring instead of carpet. It feels cleaner and more modern compared to carpeted hotel rooms.

However, the slippers provided in the room were not individually wrapped, which made it slightly unclear whether they were brand new.

India uses 230V electricity, so Korean or European plugs generally work without a converter. One small issue I noticed was that some power outlets in the room didn’t work, so you may need to try a few before finding one that works properly.

Overall, Andaz Delhi by Hyatt is a convenient and comfortable hotel near Delhi Airport. The rooms are spacious, the facilities are solid, and the location in Aerocity makes it easy to access restaurants and the airport.

If you’re looking for a reliable airport hotel in Delhi, especially for a short stay or transit stop, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
